This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive based in United States.
This role is responsible for driving new business and significant organic revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic enterprise opportunities.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation, contract execution, and account growth.
The position focuses on complex, high-value enterprise deals, with typical opportunities exceeding $1 million in annual contract value.
You will build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers within large and nationally distributed organizations.
Success requires a consultative, commercially driven approach grounded in industry expertise, strong negotiation, and strategic account planning.
You will collaborate closely with sales development, sourcing, account management, marketing, and senior leadership teams to win and expand key accounts.
The role is well suited to a high-performing enterprise seller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable traveling extensively to meet customers and partners.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned enterprise accounts to achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, existing professional networks, referrals, and strategic market development.
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, pipeline development, presentations, negotiations, contracting, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, senior stakeholders, decision-makers, and other influential contacts within target organizations.
- Understand customer business priorities, operational needs, decision-making structures, and competitive environments to position solutions effectively.
- Clearly communicate the value and differentiation of complex waste and recycling solutions to customers and stakeholders at different levels.
- Lead complex contract negotiations in partnership with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to secure favorable commercial terms, deal structures, payment conditions, and long-term agreements.
- Maintain accurate and actionable sales pipelines using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms, providing clear visibility to senior and executive leadership.
- Develop post-sale relationships through consistent follow-up, rapid issue resolution, and a strong customer-service orientation to build trust, retention, referrals, and long-term value.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and increase share of wallet in partnership with Key Account Directors and internal sales teams.
- Collaborate with Sales Development, Strategic Sourcing, Account Management, Marketing, and other internal teams to support bids, new account launches, and enterprise growth initiatives.
- Leverage knowledge of industry trends, competitors, customer requirements, and market dynamics to develop strategic partnerships and uncover new opportunities.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, supporting marketing activities and relationship development.
- Contribute to onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Key Accounts Growth function.
- Travel and work onsite approximately 50% of the time based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant enterprise sales experience with a demonstrated record of successful multi-million-dollar national account sales and relationship management.
- Proven ability to acquire and grow large enterprise customers, ideally within Fortune 1000 or similarly complex organizations.
- Experience managing high-value, complex sales cycles and negotiating large, multi-year commercial agreements.
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships with C-suite and senior-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform, including pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, and communication with senior leadership.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise client relationship management strategies and strategic account development.
- Ability to explain complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences and effectively communicate value propositions.
- Experience supporting account expansion and share-of-wallet growth initiatives is preferred.
- Experience selling into restaurants or QSR, hospitality and hotels, property management, grocery, or food distribution industries is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, opportunities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Highly proactive and accountable, with the ability to independently drive initiatives from opportunity identification through completion.
- Strong customer-service mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work remotely for extended periods, maintain sustained focus, and operate effectively through virtual collaboration tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including approximately 50% travel and/or onsite work as business needs require.

- Ability to occasionally lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
