Marketing & Communications Associate at Christ Community Chapel – Hudson, Ohio

The Marketing & Communications Associate will play a pivotal role in promoting our Kids Ministry programs and events. The candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong communication skills, and experience working with children or in a related field. This is a full-time position that reports to the Kids & Students Director.

Responsibilities:

• Under the leadership of the Kids & Students Director, develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Kids Ministry programs, events, and initiatives both within the church community and to external audiences.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels to attract families and increase participation.
• In collaboration with the church's Communications Team, design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, banners, and digital graphics to effectively communicate key messages and upcoming events for the Kids Ministry.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to maximize engagement and participation.
• Create, print, and distribute all Kids team materials as needed, which includes but is not limited to postcards, birthday cards, memory verse cards, and posters.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from parents, volunteers, and community members, providing accurate information and excellent customer service through Kids team social media channels.
• Assist the Birth – Pre-K Associate with volunteer scheduling and coaching during weekend programming.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kids & Students Director.

Qualifications:

• Be in an authentic and growing personal relationship with Jesus.
• Bachelor's degree is required; focus in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content and marketing materials.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Express, Canva) and experience with social media platforms.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Passion for working with children and families, with a commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by children's ministry events and activities.
