Data Automation Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Work Location: Herndon, VA

Shift: 40 hours M-F

Patriot Group International Inc. (PGI) has a current full-time, exempt employee opening for a Data Automation Analyst located in our Herndon, VA office. This position will support multiple PGI physical security contracts across the United States. This position reports to the Security Systems Administrator

The Data Automation Analyst will be primarily responsible for QA of automation systems. Design, innovate, and monitor systems which require expertise in automation for cloud-based computing applications.

The Data Automation Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide detailed reporting for both internal and external customers.
  • Lead the implementation and updates of data requests for programs, integrating PGI platforms.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple domains, including:
    1. Training programs, CGF examinations, and employee profiles.
    2. Operations within PGI Smartsheet applications.
    3. Backend and frontend workflows, such as dashboards and aggregated data sheets.
  • Deliver regular updates and introduce innovative features to enhance PGI workflow processes.
  • Provide strategic insights into best practices, workflow status, and backend project health.
  • Manage data analytics and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support data management related to employee scheduling, time sheets, and PTO processes.
  • Conduct both physical and digital training for CGF and perform project health assessments from the employee perspective.
  • Manage both internal and customer labor reporting using Excel and scheduling software.
  • Partner with Finance and execute opportunities to provide process improvements.
  • Support month-end program control duties and ad-hoc requests from the Finance team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high-tempo operations environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and ability to protect PGI proprietary and personnel information.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand the English language, apply written rules, instructions, and other materials.
  • A minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening as well as a background check.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Excels at operating in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of Smartsheet premium addons such as Bridge, DynamicView, Pivot, Calendar, DataMesh, and DataShuttle.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and Smartsheet.
  • Proficient in tools such as N8N, Zite, and REST APIs.
