Job Description

We’re Hiring: Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney

Crawford Boyle LLC is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our award-winning team in Gwinnett County. Former prosecutors and Public Defenders are strongly encouraged to apply — your courtroom experience is invaluable.

Why attorneys choose Crawford Boyle LLC:

“I feel supported here — not just professionally, but personally.”

“We're not just a law firm, we're a team and a family.”

“This is the first firm I’ve been at that truly lives its values.”

We’re a mission-driven team, united by a deep commitment to each other, clients, and the community we serve.

NO Burnout culture — Enjoy a real work-life balance

NO Being on your own — Have a team that lifts each other up

NO Chaos or unrealistic caseloads — Welcome structure, support, clarity, and a limited caseload

Here’s what we offer:

  • $90,000+ base, depending on experience
  • Performance bonuses + client satisfaction rewards
  • 401(k) with match, full health/dental/vision benefits
  • Strong support staff — focus on your cases, not admin
  • Room to grow, lead, and build a long-term home here

We’re looking for someone with courtroom confidence, compassion for clients, and a strong sense of purpose. If that’s you — or someone you know — we’d love to talk.

Compensation:

$90,000 + base salary plus bonuses

Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
  • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome

Qualifications:
  • Attorneys should be active members of their local bar association.
  • The attorney will be responsible from the client intake to the completion of the case.
  • New graduates will be considered, but courtroom experience is preferred.
  • The ability to work independently, with excellent communication and record-keeping skills, is important for this position.
