Job Description

About UJVWho Are We?

Planning and managing a 5-star vacation from scratch requires expertise, cleverness, and a genuine passion for detail. That's what UJV is all about. UJV is a service-driven team of experts that work behind the scenes, engineering luxury travel experiences for advisors globally, so they can grow their business and fully satisfy their exclusive clients.

We are the luxury travel advisor’s right hand. How?

UJV is a team of travel experts that advises and supports luxury travel advisors worldwide. We work behind the scenes as allies of top luxury travel advisors, to offer a 5 Star experience for their clients. We offer travel advisors the knowledge and tools needed to grow their business and better serve their exclusive clients. We offer an experience-centered service based on passion, expertise, integrityand attention to detail. We are willing to do the hard work in order to see our clients shine.

Role Mission

The SDR is the catalyst of the Luxuria sales engine — and the reason our Travel Advisors get to do what they do best. You are the first human connection a prospective client makes with our brand. In a world where Luxuria isn't yet a household name, your personality, your energy, and your ability to build trust in the first 60 seconds is everything. You don't rely on brand recognition to open doors. You open them yourself.

This role exists because we've learned something important: the skills that make a great hunter are different from the skills that make a great relationship-builder and closer. The SDR is built for people who thrive in the hunt — who love the challenge of a cold conversation, who get a charge out of uncovering what someone really wants, and who take genuine pride in setting their TA partner up for a win. If you're hungry, curious, resilient, and a natural with people, this is where your career at Luxuria begins.

Key Responsibilities

Be the First Voice — Make It Count

You are Luxuria's opening act. Engage new leads and re-activate dormant clients through outbound phone calls with energy, warmth, and genuine curiosity. Clients don't know us yet — you are the reason they decide to stay on the line.

Qualify with Depth, Not a Checklist

Go beyond the basics. Uncover the real trip: who's going, what they're celebrating, the vibe they want, the level of luxury they expect. The richer your discovery, the better your Travel Advisor partner can craft a proposal that closes.

Own the Handoff Brief

Before every TA handoff, complete a structured brief: group size, destination interests, travel dates, budget signals, emotional context, and any objections raised. A great brief means the TA walks in already knowing the client — not starting from scratch.

Orchestrate the Three-Way Intro

Schedule and anchor the follow-up call between the client and their assigned Travel Advisor. Your presence on that first call ensures continuity — the client feels guided, not transferred.

Re-Engage Orphaned Clients

Some of our best future clients are already in our database — they just went quiet. You'll proactively reach out to lapsed leads and dormant accounts, reignite their travel ambitions, and bring them back into an active relationship with Luxuria.

Maintain a Disciplined, Clean Pipeline

Log every interaction, update lead statuses, and keep your pipeline accurate and current. Your TA partners and management rely on your data to plan, prioritize, and forecast. Precision here is a form of respect for the team.

Qualifications & Experience

High-Contact People Experience

A background that required you to engage strangers, build rapport fast, and hold conversations under pressure — sales, hospitality, service, athletics, or anything that demanded people skills at volume

Demonstrated Work Ethic

A track record that shows you've outworked the room — consistent output, accountability to numbers, and a bias toward action over waiting

CRM or Pipeline Tool Experience

Some familiarity with logging activity and managing follow-ups in a CRM or equivalent system — we'll train the specifics, but the habit needs to already be there

NICE TO HAVE

Outbound Sales or SDR Experience

Prior outbound calling, canvassing, or SDR work is a genuine advantage — but the right personality will beat a mediocre resume every time

Hospitality, Service, or Sports Background

Bartenders, athletes, door-to-door reps, and retention specialists tend to thrive here — if that's your background, tell us why

Familiarity with Luxury or Travel

Any exposure to the premium end of travel, hospitality, or lifestyle — makes your discovery conversations richer from day one

Core Competencies

Phone Presence

Your voice conveys warmth and credibility from the first hello. Clients want to keep talking — and that's entirely because of you, not the brand name.

Hunter Instinct

You don't wait for calls to get easy. You bring relentless energy to outreach, treat volume as a discipline, and find the signal in the noise.

Resilience

A 'no' doesn't derail you — it informs you. You reset fast, stay consistent, and use rejection as data, not discouragement.

Curiosity & Discovery

You genuinely want to know about the client's trip. That curiosity is what turns a qualification call into a real conversation — and a real conversation into a warm handoff.

Objection Navigation

You don't push past objections — you explore them. You hear 'I need to think about it' and know exactly how to keep the door open without pressure.

Relationship Creation

You build trust in minutes. Clients feel safe enough to share their real budget, their real dreams, and their real hesitations — because you've made them feel like they're talking to a friend.

Handoff Excellence

Your value isn't measured only in calls made — it's measured in the quality of what you pass to the TA. Every brief you complete should make closing easier.

Coachability

You treat every piece of feedback as a competitive advantage. You're not defensive — you're hungry to improve your discovery questions and conversion rate.

What Success Looks Like

Travel Advisors actively request your handoffs — because your client briefs are thorough, accurate, and save them hours of re-discovery.Your clients don't feel transferred. The move from you to the TA feels like a natural next step in a relationship that's already warm.Your re-engagement outreach has reactivated dormant clients who are now actively booking again — relationships you brought back from the dead.Your daily call volume is consistent, your pipeline is clean, and management can trust your data to plan and forecast with confidence.Your conversion rate from initial contact to qualified handoff is climbing — because your discovery questions are getting sharper every week.Your TA partners are closing at a higher rate because the leads you're passing are better qualified and more emotionally primed to book. You've built a reputation on the team as someone who hustles, communicates clearly, and makes everyone around you more effective.

Who This Role Is Not For

People who need to be warmed up before they make calls. This role requires you to show up with energy on day one — every day. Those who treat discovery as a formality. If you're rushing to qualify and transfer without genuine curiosity, clients will feel it and disengage.Candidates who resist structure. The handoff brief is not optional — it's how the team wins together, and skipping it lets your TA partner down.Anyone who needs the brand to do the heavy lifting. Luxuria isn't a household name yet. Your ability to sell yourself — your voice, your energy, your warmth — is the entire first impression.People who want to work in isolation. Your performance is deeply tied to your TA partner's outcomes. If collaboration doesn't energize you, this isn't the right fit. Those who view this role as temporary by definition. We are investing seriously in the SDR function — and our best TAs will come through this path.

Candidates located outside the United States will be engaged under an independent contractor agreement. You will be responsible for managing your own social security and taxes in accordance with the regulations of your home country. Please take this into consideration before applying.
