Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk / Technical Support Consultant to provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage service requests, and resolve incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1 IT helpdesk and technical support via phone and email.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and track support tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, workstation, and application issues.
• Perform initial diagnosis and escalate issues when required.
• Document resolutions and case details in the ticketing system.
• Monitor open tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Install and maintain software and provide technical assistance to users.
• Follow established IT support procedures and service-level standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–3+ years of Tier 1 IT Helpdesk experience.
• 2–3+ years of Service Administration experience.
• 2–3+ years of IT Troubleshooting experience.
• Associate’s Degree in IT or a related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred:

• IT certifications such as A+, Security+, Cisco, or SANS.
• Experience supporting Motorola/radio-related technology.
• Military experience in the radio/communications field.

• Local candidates only – must reside within 60 miles of Lansing, MI at the time of submission.
