Job Summary

Job Overview:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with/monitor patients with a variety of medical and psychological issues,

Supervising patients and alerting nurses or other healthcare professionals when needed,

Provide emotional support to patients who may be in danger of harming themselves or those around them,

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

BLS required through American Heart Association

Preferred:

Prior experience in patient care

Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Schedule flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced department is strongly encouraged,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

AHA BLS
