The Role:
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production areas. This position supports receiving, inventory control, production, order fulfillment, and shipping operations while maintaining accurate inventory records and an organized warehouse. The Material Handler is expected to follow established warehouse procedures, use RF-SMART and NetSuite accurately, maintain a safe working environment, and work closely with warehouse, production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
What You'll Do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Receive, move, store, and stage raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Pick and deliver materials required for production, kitting, assembly, and other internal operations.
• Replenish warehouse picking locations from bulk or reserve inventory.
• Complete inventory movements, bin transfers, receipts, picks, and other transactions using RF-SMART and NetSuite.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, locations, and documentation before completing inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory by ensuring all physical material movements are properly recorded in the system.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and distributing materials to the appropriate warehouse or production locations.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled warehouse locations.
• Keep pick locations adequately stocked to support efficient order fulfillment.
• Stage materials and finished goods in designated areas.
What We're Looking For:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
• NetSuite and RF-SMART experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
What It Takes:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to regularly lift and move warehouse materials and packages.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment after appropriate training.
