The Mimosa House – Rancho Cordova

The Mimosa House is looking for a reliable, energetic Food Expediter (Expo) to join our Rancho Cordova team! The Expo plays an important role in keeping our kitchen and front-of-house running smoothly by ensuring every plate is accurate, complete, and ready to be delivered to our guests.

This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized during busy brunch shifts.

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and service team
• Check all dishes for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen
• Ensure modifications, allergies, sides, and special requests are followed correctly
• Organize completed orders by table and ticket
• Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, and management
• Assist with running food to tables when needed
• Help maintain a clean and organized expo station
• Stock plates, condiments, sauces, and other necessary items throughout the shift
• Maintain a sense of urgency during high-volume periods
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to stand and move throughout the duration of the shift
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend and holiday availability is required

The Mimosa House is a breakfast and brunch restaurant open daily from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. This position requires morning and daytime availability, with weekends and holidays required.
