Position Summary
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Videographer & Video Editor to join the Marketopia team. In this role, you'll work closely with our marketing team to capture compelling video content, produce polished edits, and help bring our clients' brands to life across social media, digital ads, and more. This is a hands-on role that blends on-site shooting with post-production editing.

Key Responsibilities

Production:
Plan, shoot, and direct video content for clients across various industries
Operate professional-grade cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
Capture interviews, testimonials, product showcases, and brand storytelling content
Travel to client locations or set up in our studio as needed

Post-Production:
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Add motion graphics, lower thirds, color grading, music, and sound design
Reformat and resize content for platform-specific specs (Reels, Shorts, square, widescreen)
Manage and organize video assets and project files

Collaboration:
Work closely with account managers and the creative team to align on project goals and brand guidelines
Participate in creative briefs and provide input on visual storytelling ideas
Meet deadlines and communicate proactively on project timelines
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in videography and video editing (agency or freelance experience a plus)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro; After Effects a strong plus
Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, lighting rigs, and audio gear
Strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices
Eye for composition, color, and storytelling
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Reliable, punctual, and professional on set and in the office
Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant work (required)
Nice to Have:
Experience with motion graphics / animation
Drone operation certification (FAA Part 107)
Photography skills
Background in franchise, real estate, or service-based industry marketing
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week (flexible, based on project load)
Schedule: Mix of set shoot days and remote/in-office editing time
Compensation: $17-$20/hr
Location: Marketopia HQ, Pinellas Park, FL (hybrid flexibility for editing work)
