K2 is seeking an experienced part-time Clinical Engagement Specialist to support our clinics out of Winter Garden, The Villages, and Tampa, FL.

This role will provide strategic clinical support across multiple K2 sites and specialty initiatives, helping strengthen physician relationships, support community education efforts, and assist with clinical operations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the transition and onboarding period for the new Physician Engagement Director
  • Assist with physician relationship development and engagement initiatives
  • Provide clinical content and support for community presentations and educational initiatives
  • Conduct chart reviews when appropriate and remote access is supported to support study identification efforts
  • Support special clinical projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
  • Collaborate with clinical operations, physician engagement, and site leadership teams
  • Provide guidance and insight related to clinical workflow and patient engagement strategies
  • Perform additional duties and special assignments as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Clinical Operations & Workflow Expertise: Deep understanding of clinical environments, medical documentation, and patient engagement strategies, with the ability to analyze workflows, conduct remote chart reviews, and support study identification efforts.
  • Physician & Stakeholder Engagement: Comprehensive knowledge of physician dynamics and relationship-building strategies, alongside the exceptional interpersonal skills required to develop strong physician partnerships and collaborate across clinical operations and site leadership teams.
  • Clinical Communication & Community Education: Ability to synthesize complex medical data and diverse clinical initiatives into accessible, impactful content for community presentations and educational outreach.
  • Change Management & Project Execution: Strong project management and organizational skills to provide strategic continuity during critical leadership transitions, support onboarding initiatives, and execute special clinical projects.
  • Adaptability & Independent Execution: Ability to work autonomously within a flexible, part-time framework (up to 15 hours per week) and pivot seamlessly across multiple geographical sites, including Winter Garden, The Villages, and Tampa.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Medical Degree (MD, DO, or international equivalent) to ensure the clinical credibility required for professional physician engagement and strategic support.
  • Clinical/Research Background: Proven experience working within clinical research operations, medical operations, or healthcare management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in physician relations, medical liaison activities, or professional stakeholder onboarding.
  • Community Education: Track record of developing or delivering clinical content for educational presentations and community outreach.
  • Availability: Ability to commit to a flexible, temporary part-time schedule of up to 15 hours per week based on operational and project needs.
  • Mobility/Remote Capability: Flexibility to support multiple site initiatives (Winter Garden, The Villages, Tampa) and utilize remote access systems for chart reviews where supported.
