Accountabilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive trends, and new business opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of new products through customer engagement, training initiatives, and technical sales support.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to influence specifications, purchasing decisions, and product preference.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to enhance visibility and generate business opportunities.
  • Monitor territory performance, develop corrective action plans when necessary, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Manage travel, entertainment, and territory-related expenses responsibly while maintaining high levels of customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or technical experience within the fire protection, fire sprinkler, life safety, or closely related industry.
  • Proven ability to manage large territories independently while maintaining strong account relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time, throughout the assigned region.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), end users, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software tools.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and residence within the assigned territory.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 CAD
  • Fully remote position with territory-based flexibility
  • Employee ownership program, allowing employees to share in organizational success
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous paid time off and holiday programs
  • Professional development and continuous learning opportunities
  • Financial wellness resources, including access to certified financial planning services
  • Employee recognition programs celebrating individual and team achievements
  • Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven industry focused on safety and protecting lives
