Job Description
The Banquet Bartender is an integral member of the Food & Beverage team, responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service during weddings, member events, golf tournaments, corporate functions, and private celebrations. As a representative of the Club, the Banquet Bartender creates memorable guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage preparation, and a commitment to the highest standards of hospitality.
The ideal candidate is polished, service-oriented, and passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Club's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide gracious, professional, and personalized beverage service to members, guests, and event attendees.
- Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, efficiency, and attention to presentation.
- Execute banquet bar service according to Club standards and event specifications.
- Set up, stock, and maintain banquet bars to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout each event.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
- Collaborate closely with banquet servers, culinary staff, and event coordinators to ensure flawless event execution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area before, during, and after events.
- Monitor responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance with all liquor licensing regulations.
- Assist with inventory control, product replenishment, and post-event reconciliation procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Previous bartending experience in banquet, hospitality, restaurant, golf club, or event settings preferred.
- Valid Smart Serve (or applicable alcohol service certification).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
