GLMG Hotels is seeking a dependable and service-focused Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds. This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
What You'll Do- Perform preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, and hotel equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Inspect hotel facilities and identify repair opportunities.
- Maintain curb appeal, exterior grounds, and public spaces.
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance as needed.
- Support life safety inspections and emergency preparedness activities.
- Work with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects.
- Maintain maintenance inventories, tools, and supplies.
- Partner with all hotel departments to support exceptional guest experiences.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or hotel engineering experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or carpentry preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call responses as needed.
