Senior Global Tax Technology Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Global Tax Technology Analyst based in the United States.

Accountabilities
  • Lead and support tax process improvement and automation initiatives, helping implement new technologies and optimized workflows across global tax operations.
  • Manage tax technology platforms and reporting systems, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with evolving accounting standards and tax requirements.
  • Maintain, validate, and enhance tax reporting processes, including financial reporting, tax provision calculations, forecasting models, and compliance-related data management.
  • Develop and support reporting solutions, dashboards, analytics tools, and validation processes using business intelligence and reporting technologies.
  • Deliver training, guidance, and ongoing support to tax professionals globally, promoting effective adoption of systems, automation tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with international teams to resolve system issues, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous process enhancements.
  • Support federal and state tax compliance activities, quarterly reporting requirements, and data analysis initiatives.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and advanced analytics solutions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax technology, tax systems, process improvement, automation, or related tax functions.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing tax provisions in accordance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of corporate federal and state tax compliance processes and reporting obligations.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, robotic process automation (RPA), and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to support and guide users across global teams.
  • Experience working with tax reporting systems, financial data management, and technology-enabled tax processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is considered an asset.
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees such as a Master's are considered advantageous.
  • Self-motivated mindset with a strong interest in technology, automation, and continuous process improvement.
