Position Description:
The Senior Manager of Product Portfolio Management is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, performance, and optimization of the RF product portfolio. This role with work closely with senior product leaders, drive key product development initiatives, and ensure the portfolio is aligned with business objectives, market needs, and financial targets. The role spans the full product lifecycle—from concept to end-of-life—and supports industries including defense, aerospace, consumer electronics, and industrial markets.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Leadership & Team Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior product leaders to drive strategic execution and innovation.
o Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Product Development & Execution:
o Oversee and drive critical product development projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with market requirements.
o Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing to ensure successful product launches.
· Portfolio Strategy & Optimization:
o Support portfolio performance through product planning, market analysis, and business case development.
o Recommend enhancements and product improvements based on customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market trends.
· Lifecycle Management:
o Manage product lifecycle activities, including product launches, enhancements, and end-of-life planning.
o Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption during product phase-outs.
· Operational Efficiency:
o Drive efficient inventory turns and supply chain alignment to support business goals.
o Partner with finance and operations to monitor and improve product cost structures and margins.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with supporting groups across the organization including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
o Ensure alignment between product strategy and organizational capabilities.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related technical field is required.
· 8+ years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or business leadership, with significant exposure to RF technologies.
· Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
· Strong understanding of both active and passive RF components and their applications.
· Demonstrated ability to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
· Deep knowledge of RF systems and market dynamics across defense, aerospace, consumer, and industrial sectors.
· Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Physical Job Requirements:
· Frequently remains in a stationary position and occasionally moves about the office or worksite to access files, supplies, or attend meetings.
· Frequently uses hands and fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office tools.
· Must be able to visually assess information on screens, documents, and reports.
· Frequently reads, interprets, and analyzes written and visual information.
· Occasionally lifts or moves items up to [10–15] pounds (e.g., files, laptop, meeting materials).
· Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas in person, via video conference, and through written communication.
· Works primarily in an office or remote office environment with standard business equipment.
· May require extended periods of screen time.
· May occasionally be required to attend meetings or events outside of normal workspace or business hours.
Work Environment: The work environment is typically considered to be an office environment located on-site, within an Infinite location, during regular or extended business hours. The work environment may include the employee’s residence (Work from Home) or a hybrid combination of home and on-site facility.
