Sr Digital Advertising Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Digital Advertising Consultant based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated digital advertising strategies for automotive dealer clients across multiple performance channels.
You will manage accounts throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding and strategic planning to optimization, reporting, and retention.
The position combines hands-on campaign management with consultative client engagement and performance analysis.
You will work across Search, Display, Social, and Video advertising while identifying opportunities to improve results and expand client portfolios.
Success requires strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, communication skills, and the ability to manage substantial advertising budgets.
As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor colleagues and serve as a subject-matter expert in digital advertising best practices.
This is a remote opportunity for an experienced digital marketer who enjoys owning client outcomes and helping others grow.

Accountabilities
  • Manage assigned advertising accounts throughout the full lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing account management, optimization, and performance reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted digital advertising consultant by understanding each client's business objectives and aligning advertising strategies with their goals.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly advertising strategies in collaboration with clients and translate those strategies into measurable initiatives.
  • Execute, monitor, optimize, and present the results of digital advertising campaigns across Search Engine Marketing, Display, Social, and Video channels.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and consistently meet or exceed retention and service-level expectations.
  • Respond promptly to client and internal requests while ensuring commitments and deliverables are completed within established service-level agreements.
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively and ensure campaigns remain aligned with client performance objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and enhance clients' advertising portfolios through new channels, tactics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns using industry standards, internal best practices, performance data, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, managers, specialists, and other account team members to achieve department-wide performance objectives.
  • Mentor and support Specialists and Consultants by sharing knowledge, providing guidance on best practices, and encouraging continuous professional development.
  • Act as a digital advertising subject-matter expert and proactively share insights, processes, and expertise with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns, preferably within an agency environment.
  • At least 2 years of customer service or client-facing experience, with demonstrated success managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing and optimizing accounts with significant advertising budgets.
  • Familiarity with advertising management platforms such as Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick, Fluency, or comparable technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and a data-driven approach to campaign optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance insights and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Google Analytics certification is preferred.
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certifications are preferred.
  • Experience as a PPC analyst is a plus.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Automotive marketing or automotive internet sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be based in the United States.
