Custom Millwork Fabricator in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Blood Assurance

Blood Assurance is seeking a dedicated Custom Millwork Fabricator, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help shape high-quality millwork in our Mobile Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, casework, fixtures, and related wood products. This position requires the ability to interpret shop drawings, operate woodworking machinery, maintain quality standards, and produce finished products that meet customer specifications and project deadlines.

Custom Millwork Fabricator Job Responsibilities:

• Fabricate custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, casework, and fixtures according to specifications
• Operate woodworking equipment including saws, routers, edge banders, sanders, and drills
• Perform assembly, sanding, finishing, and quality inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and installation teams.
• Routine exposure to a manufacturing environment including machinery, wood dust, noise, adhesives, and finishes.
• Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
• Operate machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Custom Millwork Fabricator Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of custom millwork, cabinetmaking, or woodworking experience preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings and specifications.
• Strong woodworking, fabrication, communication, and math skills.
