About the Role:

The Food & Beverage Manager at Graduate by Hilton Richmond plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the hospitality environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. This position is responsible for managing staff, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. The manager will develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and optimize inventory management. They will also collaborate closely with other departments to align food and beverage services with overall business objectives. Ultimately, the role demands a balance of leadership, operational expertise, and customer service focus to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe Manager Certification.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Advanced degree or specialized training in hospitality or restaurant management.
  • Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets or large teams.
  • Familiarity with current food and beverage trends and menu engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise food and beverage staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain operational standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and cost control.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure quality products at competitive prices while managing inventory effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all food and beverage outlets.
  • Plan and execute promotional events, menu development, and customer engagement initiatives to enhance guest experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and housekeeping to support overall business goals.
