About the Role:
As a Compensation Analyst, you will serve as a trusted advisor to People leaders and business stakeholders on compensation strategy, programs, and pay decisions. You will leverage market data, internal pay insights, and business context to provide thoughtful, data-driven recommendations that support attracting, motivating, and retaining talent.
You will partner closely with HRBPs, Talent, Finance, and business leaders to deliver compensation programs, including annual pay reviews, promotions, incentives, and other reward initiatives. You will also help ensure our compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, consistent, and aligned with our broader talent and business strategy.
You will be part of the People team and report directly to the Manager, Compensation. This role will sit in NYC and be 3 days in the office.

You Will:
- Partner with Compensation team members, People Business Partners, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance on pay decisions, promotions, job changes, new hires, retention, and other compensation matters.
- Build an understanding of business and organizational needs and apply compensation principles, market data, internal equity, and established guidelines to develop practical recommendations.
- Conduct compensation analysis using market benchmarks, internal pay data, job evaluations, salary structures, and other compensation insights to assess pay positioning, competitiveness, and equity.
- Support leaders and People Business Partners through annual compensation cycles and ongoing compensation decisions, including merit, promotions, incentive planning, and other pay programs.
- Identify and communicate compensation trends, potential pay compression, equity concerns, market positioning issues, and other areas that may require further review.
- Translate compensation data and analysis into clear, concise insights that help People and business leaders understand their options and the factors that should be considered in compensation decisions.
- Develop and deliver compensation reporting and analytics for business and People leadership, using data to identify trends, inform decisions, and support effective compensation practices.
- Build relationships and develop a strong understanding of the business, while continuing to grow compensation consulting and advisory capabilities and increasing independence in managing more complex compensation matters.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, HR, or a related field, with experience providing compensation guidance to HR or business stakeholders.
- Experience with market benchmarking, job evaluation, salary structures, pay equity, and compensation program administration.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret compensation data and turn insights into practical business recommendations.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to confidently advise and influence leaders at varying levels.
- Experience working with HR systems, compensation, and data analysis tools; advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive compensation information with a high degree of discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
