Technology Champion in Modesto, California at Tonys Plumbing Heating & Air LP

We’re seeking a Technology Champion who sees technology as a tool to solve problems and improve processes. You will serve as a force multiplier for leadership, ensuring priorities translate into measurable business outcomes by leading projects and facilitating support and training for the team during process updates.

This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and technology driven transformation. It requires strong judgment, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Management Team to prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and coordinate projects across teams
• Track and report progress against KPIs and strategic goals
• Build and interpret dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Design and implement optimized operational workflows and facilitate team training to ensure smooth adoption and alignment
• Lead or support high-impact projects across operations, automation, and process improvement
• Serve as the point person for deploying technology, tools, and devices across the departments
• Act as the go-to resource for tech questions and troubleshooting within the team, gathering feedback from Team Members on pain points or improvement ideas and relaying it to leadership
• Identify opportunities for automation or integration between existing systems (e.g., CRM, dispatch, scheduling, HR platforms) to reduce manual work
• Act as a flexible, high-impact resource across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in tech, operations or relevant experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects from planning through implementation
• Strong continuous improvement mindset
• Exposure to AI platforms, data products, or technology-driven transformation
• Basic understanding of automation concepts (workflow automation, integrations between platforms)
• Self-driven with strong follow-through; proactively identifies problems and sees solutions through to completion
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceTitan
• Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, and decision-support artifacts
• Advanced data analysis and visualization skills
• Familiarity with project/program management methodologies
• Establish and implement SOPs
