Looking for a career where your work truly matters? At VB Spine, you’ll be part of a mission-focused team that supports surgeons during life-changing spinal procedures. We’re the largest privately held spine company and among the largest family-owned medical technology companies in the world, dedicated to innovation, surgeon partnerships, and improving patient outcomes in spine care. As a Project Manager, PMO focused on New Product Development (NPD) within the Spine division, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary project teams from Project Charter through Planning, Development, Verification & Validation, and Launch for spinal implants and instruments — ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development of the project charter and project management plan; direct, manage, monitor, and control the project
  • Meet with stakeholders to refine project scope, create detailed Work Breakdown Structures, and obtain management approval
  • Develop and manage detailed project Gantt charts; analyze critical path and major workstreams
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain project budgets in collaboration with supervisors and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute risk management plans — identify, analyze, and respond to project risks
  • Contribute to Procurement Management Plans and collaborate on the selection of partners
  • Estimate, acquire, and assign project team resources; define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables; provide feedback on team member performance
  • Develop and execute Stakeholder and Communications Management Plans
  • Build strong working relationships across internal and external teams while driving results under demanding timelines
  • Influence without direct authority and maintain high team morale
  • Incorporate end-user feedback to refine scope and effectively communicate changes to stakeholders
  • Keep the customer at the heart of decision-making and exercise sound judgment amid ambiguity
  • Oversee and coordinate team members and stakeholders across multiple VB Spine locations, including international sites

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience leading projects in a regulated industry (medical device experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with project management tools: MS Project, Project for the Web, MS Teams, Power BI, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead large team meetings
  • Strong emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive results in a matrixed environment
  • Growth mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

Why VB Spine?

We believe in growing talent from within. At VB Spine, join a high-performing PMO team where you’ll lead critical New Product Development projects that bring innovative spinal implants and instruments to market — directly impacting patient outcomes.
