Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 3:00pm

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Tullamarine. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high standards, and working closely with sales, customer service and operations teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate operation of the warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will actively participate in daily warehouse activities while supervising one warehouse team member and driving a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance

• Champion a strong safety culture and lead by example.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse at all times.
• Support incident reporting, corrective actions and continuous safety improvements.
• Manage Dangerous Goods (DG) storage and handling requirements (training provided).

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise and participate in daily warehouse operations.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Process a variety of order types including:
  • Standard customer orders
  • Project and bulk orders
  • Interstate stock transfers
  • Ecommerce orders
  • Export shipments and containers
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, including export containers.
• Ensure warehouse layout and storage practices maximise efficiency and safety.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate general warehouse maintenance requirements.

Inventory Management

• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare packing lists and shipping documentation.

• Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner within the MYOB/ERP system.

Customer Service & Communication

• Deliver a positive, customer-focused approach to all warehouse activities.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Communicate proactively regarding stock availability, order priorities and operational issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels and warehouse performance.

Leadership

• Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching and support to one direct report.
• Foster teamwork, accountability and a positive workplace culture.
• Assist with training and development of warehouse personnel.
• Support operational planning during peak seasonal demand periods.

About You
You will be a practical, energetic and safety-focused warehouse professional who enjoys being part of the daily operation while leading others.
Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Manager role.
• Current Forklift Licence (essential).
• Strong inventory management and warehouse systems experience.
• Experience using ERP and warehouse management systems. MYOB experience highly regarded
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Experience handling Dangerous Goods is advantageous but not essential.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
