Responsibilities include:

• Build, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain precision tooling and dies.
• Manufacture and fit tooling components to specified tolerances and design requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and assembly documentation.
• Perform bench work including fitting, spotting, polishing, stoning, and precision assembly.
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Perform surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and jig grinding operations as required.
• Diagnose tooling failures and implement corrective repairs.
• Modify tooling to improve performance, reliability, and component quality.
• Collaborate with Tool Designers and Manufacturing Engineers on tooling improvements.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measurement devices.
• Maintain tooling maintenance records and repair documentation.
• Assist in the fabrication of fixtures, gauges, prototypes, and automation components.
• Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience with certification as Tool & Die Maker or Mold Maker
• Experience building and repairing precision tooling and dies
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment involving stamping, fineblanking, aerospace, or precision components preferred
• Experience with grinding, fitting, machining, and assembly operations
