Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Renovation Specialist to join our construction and renovation team. This position is responsible for transforming apartment homes through high-quality interior renovations, helping prepare units for new residents while maintaining company quality standards and project timelines.
The ideal candidate has experience in apartment renovations, residential remodeling, or construction and is comfortable performing a variety of trades. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and pride in producing quality workmanship. Successful candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meet renovation deadlines, adapt to expedited project schedules, and help ensure apartment homes are completed on time for resident move-ins.

Essential Responsibilities
- Complete apartment renovations in apartment communities according to company standards.
- Perform demolition of existing finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, and other materials while protecting surrounding area and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Complete final punch-out work, quality inspections, and touch-ups to ensure apartments are move-in ready and meet company quality standards.
- Perform drywall repairs, patching, sanding, texturing, and painting.
- Install plumbing fixtures including faucets, toilets, sinks, and shower accessories.
- Install light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, and other basic electrical components
- Install appliances and ensure proper operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, including daily site cleanup and debris removal throughout the renovation process.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and renovation equipment.
- Identify material needs and communicate shortages to the project supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, vendors, and other team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Complete renovation projects within established timelines while maintaining quality workmanship, adapting to changing priorities and expedited turnover schedules as business needs require.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment renovations, residential remodeling, construction, or a related trade required.
- Experience with flooring installation, trim carpentry, painting, drywall repair, cabinetry, or finish work.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple renovation projects, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to prioritize multiple renovation projects while meeting deadlines.
- Reliable transportation to report to various job sites.
