Job Description:
The Sales Quote Administrator will focus on preparing and generating purchase quotes for new and existing customers for EAM-Mosca’s end-of-line packaging machinery using Salesforce CPQ. This role is responsible for ensuring that multi-component packaging systems are quoted accurately, aligned with technical specifications and processed in a timely manner to support the sales pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • CPQ Quote Management: Configure, price, and generate precise technical quotes and proposals using the Salesforce CPQ Quote Line Editor
  • Equipment Configuration: Work with the EAM-Mosca Engineering team to translate complex machine layouts into valid itemized quotes for end-of-line systems including bundlers, unitizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors and custom engineering requests.
  • Pricing, Configuration and Compliance Validation: Verify that product pricing, discounts, option selections and cross-equipment compatibilities conform to pre-established manufacturing, engineering and finance requirements.
  • Pipeline Support: Track quotation revisions, monitor approval workflows, and manage order-activation documentation within the Salesforce CRM database.
  • Report on Quoting Activities: Develop tracking reports on quote timing, conversion, won/lost rates, reason analysis and make recommendations for process improvements to increase closed-deal conversion rates.
  • Quote Process Management: Work with EAM-Mosca Salesforce Administrator to improve the quoting process and train users on quote entry requirements.
  • Quote Document Maintenance: Ensure all quote-related documents (price books, spec-sheets, service and warranty documents, technical drawings, product brochures, etc) are up-to-date and uploaded into Salesforce.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: May include but not limited to working with Sales Team on special projects, trade show preparation and shipping, assisting with and tracking of Marketing Initiatives and promotions, etc.

Profile and Background:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering is highly preferred. Comparable industry experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Experience (Preferred): 2-5 years of previous experience in sales operations, industrial quotations or contract administration. Prior background working with industrial manufacturing, automation, or end-of-line packaging systems is a plus. Knowledge/use of Salesforce CPQ is advantageous.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM/Quoting platforms (Salesforce is advantageous) and advanced spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce CPQ Expertise: Direct proficiency quoting process: managing complex product bundles, lookup table, quote line groups, and multi-currency pricing.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to work with engineering and sales teams to understand how various machinery products and optional items will interface in a packaging line to ensure quoted equipment meets the needs of the customer. Willingness to train with our in-house teams to understand how our equipment works and how it will be utilized by the end-user.
  • Extreme Precision: High attention to detail to catch discrepancies in custom dimensions, required equipment selection/bundles, pricing discounts, electrical requirements, etc.
  • Fast-Paced Prioritization: Proven capacity to manage multiple high-value capital equipment bids with overlapping deadlines.
