Location: Dawson Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center – Dawson Springs, KY
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift
Dawson Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily accounting, human resources, payroll, and administrative operations. This role is ideal for employees who are organized, professional, enjoy working with people, and are interested in expanding their administrative and business office experience within long-term care.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Assist with credit card reconciliation and statement review
- Organize and maintain receipts and supporting documentation
- Provide administrative support for Human Resources, including employee files and onboarding documentation
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll processes by reviewing entries for accuracy
- Perform data entry and maintain facility records
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and vendors
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, resident, and financial information
- Support general business office operations and administrative functions
- Complete additional duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and spreadsheets
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Administrative, clerical, HR, payroll, bookkeeping, or office experience
- Healthcare, long-term care, or nursing home experience
- Experience with timekeeping, scheduling, or payroll systems
