Job Description

The Developer, Gatekeeper App will design, build, and maintain a secure internal application that supports authentication, access control, and operational workflows for Gatekeeper use cases. This role is responsible for delivering a reliable, maintainable, and user-friendly experience that integrates with MCP, access-control technologies, OAuth-based authentication, and related APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build the Gatekeeper app using modern frontend development practices.
  • Implement interactive user flows for setup, configuration, validation, and status reporting.
  • Integrate with MCP tools, access-control technologies, and OAuth-based authentication flows.
  • Develop secure API integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Manage environment variables, secrets, and configuration securely and maintainable.
  • Add input validation, error handling, logging, and troubleshooting support.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and improve workflow usability.
  • Ensure the application follows established security, reliability, and operating standards.
  • Document behavior, setup steps, and operational considerations for maintainability.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software development experience or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience with React.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience building and maintaining web applications or internal tools.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and JSON-based services.
  • Familiarity with OAuth, authentication, and authorization concepts.
  • Familiarity with secure configuration and secrets handling.
  • Understanding of debugging, logging, and production support practices.
  • Working knowledge of security best practices, including least privilege and input validation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building internal enterprise applications or workflow tools.
  • Familiarity with access-control or Zero Trust concepts.
  • Experience with MCP or similar tool-orchestration patterns.
  • Experience designing admin, setup, or configuration interfaces.
  • Experience supporting secure applications in an operational environment.
