Lead Pricing Strategist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Pricing Strategist based in the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape pricing and packaging strategy across a broad SaaS product portfolio.
You’ll influence how new offerings are commercialized while optimizing existing products for sustainable growth.
The role sits at the intersection of product, finance, marketing, sales, and go-to-market strategy.
You’ll evaluate market dynamics, customer behavior, usage data, and competitive positioning to guide decisions.
A key focus will be emerging AI, credit-based, and usage-based business models as the portfolio evolves.
You’ll operate in a highly collaborative, remote environment where structured thinking and clear communication are essential.
The role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence senior leaders and long-term monetization strategy.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Deal Desk, and go-to-market teams to develop commercial models, pricing strategies, and packaging approaches for new and existing offerings.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, customer behavior, and product usage data to identify opportunities and develop evidence-based pricing recommendations.
  • Build financial models and conduct structured analyses to evaluate business cases, test hypotheses, validate findings, and recommend commercially sound actions.
  • Lead recurring pricing reviews, identify optimization opportunities, and support the implementation of initiatives designed to improve monetization and portfolio performance.
  • Evaluate emerging monetization models, particularly AI-powered, credit-based, and usage-based approaches, as products and customer needs evolve.
  • Partner with product and fulfillment teams to support launches, prioritize commercial initiatives, and ensure new SKUs are accurately mapped to products and feature sets.
  • Monitor pricing and packaging performance following launches, incorporate market and customer learnings, and continuously refine the broader pricing strategy.
  • Communicate complex pricing concepts, analyses, and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences, influencing senior stakeholders and building alignment across competing priorities.
  • Manage multiple strategic projects and deadlines while maintaining strong cross-functional alignment and supporting the continued evolution of pricing practices.
Requirements
  • Significant experience leading SaaS pricing strategy and analysis across individual products or complex, multi-product portfolios.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, with experience using data and business intelligence tools such as Sisense, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex datasets and ambiguous business questions into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Proven ability to frame complex problems, develop hypotheses, assess alternatives, and facilitate decisions among senior stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present pricing concepts and recommendations credibly to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple cross-functional initiatives, maintaining stakeholder alignment, and delivering against competing deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where approaches may need to be developed, tested, and refined iteratively.
  • A strategic, commercially minded approach with the ability to connect pricing decisions to customer value, product strategy, market dynamics, and business outcomes.
Benefits
  • U.S. base salary range of $139,200–$235,200 USD, excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits.
  • Compensation is determined based on factors including experience, education, skills, market data, internal equity, and geographic location.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off.
  • Equity compensation and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Growth and Development Fund to support professional learning and development.
  • Parental Leave.
  • Team Member Resource Groups.
  • Fully remote work environment, subject to applicable location-based hiring requirements.
  • Inclusive and equal-opportunity workplace committed to merit-based career development and accessibility.
  • Opportunity to work on pricing strategy spanning SaaS, AI, usage-based products, and evolving monetization models.
  • A collaborative, high-performance environment focused on continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
