Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth Marketing Lead based in the United States.
This is a hands-on growth leadership role focused on owning the full self-serve customer funnel for a high-scale SaaS product.
You will shape how prospective customers discover the product and guide them from signup through activation and paid conversion.
The role spans product-led growth, viral distribution, AI-powered onboarding, SEO, emerging AI search channels, conversion optimization, and lifecycle marketing.
You will work closely with design, engineering, content, and customer support to turn growth ideas into shipped product experiences.
With millions of active users and established viral mechanics, the opportunity is to scale proven growth loops while uncovering new channels and audiences.
You will operate in a flat, highly autonomous environment where experimentation, data, and rapid execution are central to the culture.
This position is suited to a growth marketer who enjoys building directly, measuring outcomes, and treating the funnel like a product they own.
- Own the self-serve growth funnel end to end, including acquisition, signup, activation, and free-to-paid conversion.
- Build and scale in-product viral loops and word-of-mouth mechanisms in close partnership with design and engineering.
- Lead the development and optimization of an AI-powered onboarding experience designed to accelerate customer activation.
- Own lifecycle email programs from initial signup through engagement, retention, and upgrade.
- Drive organic acquisition through SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), adapting discovery strategies to changing AI-assisted search behavior.
- Improve information architecture and on-site conversion through collaboration with design and content teams.
- Identify opportunities to build upmarket demand and increase product visibility among larger potential buyers.
- Develop and execute frequent growth experiments, prioritizing measurable improvements over large, one-off campaigns.
- Partner cross-functionally to ship growth initiatives directly within the product experience rather than relying solely on external marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and own key performance metrics, including signups, activation rate, and self-serve free-to-paid conversion.
- Use customer insights, analytics, and experimentation results to continuously refine the growth strategy and prioritize future initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing, ideally within a product-led SaaS organization.
- Demonstrated experience leading in-product viral growth initiatives and self-serve conversion programs, with measurable results to show.
- Strong hands-on SEO expertise and a practical understanding of how AI-driven search is changing online discovery and acquisition.
- Strong analytical and experimentation skills, with a track record of using data to evaluate and optimize marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms, experimentation tools, lifecycle/email platforms, AI tools, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience working directly with product design and engineering teams to deliver growth functionality inside a digital product.
- Comfortable owning the complete funnel and making decisions independently in a fast-moving, relatively flat environment.
- Highly proactive, self-directed, and execution-oriented, with a preference for testing multiple focused experiments and learning quickly from results.
- Strong curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a willingness to incorporate AI tools into everyday marketing workflows.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate growth opportunities into actionable initiatives.
- Expected base salary of $135,000 USD annually, excluding annual bonus.
- Compensation may vary based on market conditions, location, job-related skills, and professional experience.
- Remote work opportunity for candidates based in the United States, with preference for candidates aligned with Eastern Standard Time.
- Opportunity to work on a product with more than 5 million monthly active users and established product-led growth dynamics.
- High level of ownership and autonomy in a flat, execution-focused team.
- Direct collaboration with design, engineering, content, and customer support teams.
- Opportunity to work at the intersection of growth marketing, SaaS, AI, product experimentation, and emerging search technologies.
- Inclusive workplace committed to equal employment opportunities and supporting diverse teams.
