We are currently seeking an experienced:

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description:

• Coordinates system activities to include overseeing system design, new product testing, software and hardware upgrades, and technical support.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves system, hardware, and software problems to include, if necessary, arranging for outside vendor assistance.
• Develops, implements, and documents computer data backup and recovery methods to include: designing and installing data backup codes and programs; selecting hardware and software modules for data backup and restoration..
• Oversees system equipment to include purchasing and configuring new hardware and software and scheduling maintenance and repairs.
• Oversees system security to include maintaining equipment used to protect the systems from outside penetration and maintaining a security policy to safeguard access to system data and resources.
• Manages remote access servers to include designing and implementing private network addressing schemes.
• Maintains records of system equipment, maintenance, and user-support contracts.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
• Performs work during emergency/disaster situations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Information Systems, or a related field and three years of progressively responsible computer experience related to the area of assignment or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
• Dell EMC or other SAN experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with VMWare, VSphere
• EMC Avamar
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, and DNS
• Windows Server Administration
• Azure server, networking - experience setting up and managing Azure environments
• Office 365
• ITIL Foundation 3.0
• Customer service techniques;
• Budgetary principles;
• Various computer operating systems;
• Computer network principles;
• System security techniques;
• Company operations;
• Basic accounting practices;
• Computer system and services vendors
• Troubleshooting systems ;
• Evaluating software upgrades;

• Configuring systems and software;
• Preparing bid specifications;
• Evaluating vendor bids;
• Preparing and delivering presentations;
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
