Principal Security Advisor

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Security Advisor in United States.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing security leadership role focused on shaping trust and technical confidence in advanced cloud infrastructure solutions. You will act as a senior security authority during complex enterprise sales cycles, helping customers understand and validate platform security across compute, networking, and infrastructure layers. The role blends deep technical expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting RFPs, procurement processes, and executive-level discussions. You will translate sophisticated security architectures into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. Operating in a fast-growing, global cloud environment, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams. Your work will directly influence deal success, customer trust, and adoption across regulated and high-complexity industries. This position is ideal for a security expert who thrives at the intersection of architecture, cloud infrastructure, and customer engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the senior security advisor in enterprise sales cycles, guiding customers and internal teams through technical security discussions.
  • Lead deep-dive conversations on cloud security architecture, including hypervisor isolation, infrastructure controls, and network segmentation.
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and security due diligence processes by providing accurate, detailed technical responses.
  • Address advanced security objections and influence customer decision-making during procurement and evaluation phases.
  • Deliver security architecture presentations, workshops, and briefings to technical teams, executives, and strategic partners.
  • Map platform security controls to industry frameworks, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure alignment on security positioning and capabilities.
  • Contribute to security documentation, reference architectures, and customer-facing technical collateral.
  • Support proof-of-concept evaluations and validate security requirements for enterprise deployments.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cloud compute, GPU infrastructure, and sovereign cloud environments.
Requirements:
  • 5–7+ years of experience in cloud security, security architecture, or technical security advisory roles.
  • Strong customer-facing experience in enterprise technology or cloud infrastructure sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of IaaS security architecture, including identity and access management, network security, and hypervisor isolation.
  • Knowledge of cloud compute, high-performance computing, and GPU-based infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical validation processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing and internal documentation purposes.
  • Experience collaborating across Sales, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
  • Ability to influence decision-making and resolve complex technical objections during procurement cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation ranging from $160,000 to $175,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Fully remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching and immediate vesting.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and long-term sabbatical opportunities.
  • Annual professional development reimbursement and learning support.
  • Home office, internet, and wellness stipends.
  • Gym membership reimbursement and employee wellness programs.
  • Inclusive, high-growth environment focused on innovation and collaboration.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud security and infrastructure technologies at global scale.
