Job Description
Total Warehouse Inc. (TW) is seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support West Coast growth. TW delivers industry-leading material handling equipment and warehouse solutions focused on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
This is a field-based development role focused on prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing small to mid-sized deals, with the objective to transition into a Sales Representative role with territory ownership within 6–12 months.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through daily field prospecting and cold calling
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities
- Identify customer needs and introduce TW solutions
- Close small to mid-sized deals to develop sales capability
- Support larger opportunities in partnership with Senior Sales Representatives
- Conduct product introductions and solution discussions onsite
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and opportunity tracking
- Continuously follow up to advance deals through pipeline
Growth Path (6–12 Months)
- 0–6 Weeks: Training + initial prospecting
- 6–12 Months: Independent selling + support larger deals
- 6 Weeks–6 Months: Pipeline build + close small deals
Requirements
- 1–3 years in B2B sales or customer-facing role
- Strong prospecting and communication skills
- Organized with strong follow-through
- CRM experience required
- Ability to build rapport with decision-makers
- Material handling/industrial experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
