- Monitor ongoing covenant compliance for existing and new accounts through the review, validation, reconciliation, and analysis of borrowing base certificates and financial covenants.
- Analyze financial statements to assess repayment capacity, liquidity, leverage, capitalization trends, and cash flow performance across diverse agricultural and commercial portfolios.
- Support underwriting teams with loan servicing actions, periodic financial reviews, and preparation of credit information for lending decisions and committee presentations.
- Maintain and manage a designated portfolio of production agriculture, agribusiness, and capital markets credits while evaluating loan applications and recommending approvals within delegated authority levels.
- Review credit agreements, loan documents, collateral information, appraisals, and inventory reports to ensure compliance and support ongoing portfolio monitoring activities.
- Communicate financial trends, covenant performance, and risk-related findings clearly and effectively to account officers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify the need for additional financial information or further investigation when analyzing client financial performance and reporting data.
- Contribute to collateral control processes, including inventory verification and accounts receivable maintenance activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Agribusiness, or a related field, or at least 6 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, banking procedures, and underwriting practices.
- Knowledge of agriculture and/or agribusiness industries is required.
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills with the ability to evaluate and interpret complex financial data and performance trends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and communicate findings clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication abilities.
- Previous experience in customer-facing financial services or lending environments is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings, training sessions, or business needs.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $71,138 to $123,959, adjusted based on location and experience.
