About the Role:
The Assembler plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately and efficiently putting together components to create finished products. This position requires attention to detail to ensure that all parts are assembled according to specifications and quality standards. The Assembler will work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role contributes directly to the overall success of the production line by minimizing errors and ensuring timely completion of assembly tasks. Ultimately, the Assembler helps deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand product specifications.
- Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to established procedures.
- Inspect assembled products for defects or deviations from specifications and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety protocols and proper handling of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and assist in troubleshooting assembly problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Lift up to 30lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Experience using measurement tools such as calipers or micrometers.
