About This Position
Hyperion Solutions is a technology-driven vertical transportation provider based in Memphis, TN, with operations across the U.S. We’re reshaping the elevator industry through integrated systems & components, and top-tier technical services. As we grow, we’re looking for team members who are driven, reliable, and ready to roll up their sleeves.
The Opportunity:
We’re currently hiring an Operator, Assembly at our EMI Porta location in Arlington Heights, IL. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role that’s critical to our operations. You’ll work closely with the Production Supervisor and your teammates to assemble mechanical components, troubleshoot issues, and help keep things moving smoothly. Every product you touch will end up in an elevator system we stand behind—quality and safety matter here.
What You’ll Do:
Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery based on blueprints or instructions.
Follow production schedules and hit daily output targets.
Inspect your work for defects or inconsistencies—nothing leaves your station unless it’s right.
Work with teammates and supervisors to identify and resolve quality or process issues.
Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.
Report faulty equipment or materials to your supervisor.
Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
Pitch in on other duties as needed—we’re all in this together.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED preferred
1 to 2 years of experience in a production or assembly environment (preferred, but we’ll train the right person)
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and regularly
Strong attention to detail—you take pride in getting it right
Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
How You Work:
Adaptable: You roll with changes and adjust quickly to new tasks or priorities
Team-Oriented: You communicate clearly, share info, and support your coworkers
Safety-Focused: You look out for hazards and follow safety protocols without cutting corners
Proactive: You don’t wait to be told—when something needs doing, you do it
Quality-Driven: You take pride in your work and want to get it right the first time
What We Offer:
Competitive pay and consistent hours
Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more
401(k) with company match
Opportunities to grow within a supportive team
A company that values safety, precision, and hustle
