- Collaborate with laboratories, technical specialists, consultants, certification teams, and globally distributed sales teams to develop solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, quotations, scopes, pricing, and statements of work, progressing opportunities through negotiation and final award.
- Develop strategic account plans for priority customers and identify opportunities to expand relationships across business units, product offerings, and geographic markets.
- Support customer presentations, webinars, workshops, conferences, trade shows, and targeted marketing and sales campaigns.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and opportunity information in CRM systems and provide regular forecasts, account plans, and business-development updates.
- Spend significant time engaging directly with customers, attending industry events, and developing relationships in the field.
- Prioritize and organize a demanding workload while maintaining strong customer focus, quality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel extensively as required to support customers, events, and business-development activities.
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, product security, technical consulting, testing, certification, regulatory advisory, or related professional services.
- Demonstrated success developing new business, building qualified pipelines, and closing complex technical service opportunities.
- Practical knowledge of product and IoT cybersecurity regulations, standards, and market drivers, with the ability to lead early-stage customer discussions independently.
- Experience selling to product manufacturers, technology companies, industrial organizations, or businesses developing connected products.
- Strong consultative selling, prospecting, networking, account development, opportunity qualification, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into commercially relevant solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical experts, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Experience developing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and managing opportunities through complex and extended sales cycles.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with technical, commercial, and globally distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
- Customer-focused and quality-driven approach, with strong technical and administrative capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and airplane as business requirements dictate.
- Ability to meet the mobility and physical requirements associated with frequent customer and business travel.
- Experience with cybersecurity companies, testing laboratories, certification bodies, product security consultancies, or regulatory advisory organizations is preferred.
