Fence Installer in Flint, Michigan at All American Landscape LLC

Position Summary

All American Fence is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals interested in building a long-term career in the fencing and construction industry. The Fence Installer performs physically demanding outdoor work and assists with the installation of wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum fencing. This position requires full-time daytime availability, experience using power tools, and the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a crew.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum fencing.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport fencing materials.
• Dig post holes and assist with setting posts.
• Mix, place, and handle concrete as required.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Measure, level, align, and assemble fencing materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe job site.
• Follow instructions provided by the crew leader or supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and management.
• Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
• Assist with cleanup and removal of job-site debris.
• Perform other installation-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience using power tools is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Full-time daytime availability Monday through Friday is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor labor.
• Ability to work in varying weather and job-site conditions.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous fencing or construction experience.
• Experience using measuring tools, levels, saws, drills, and other construction equipment.
• Experience driving work trucks or towing trailers.
• Familiarity with residential or commercial job sites.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, push, pull, and reach.
• Regularly lift and carry tools and fencing materials.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, mud, and other seasonal conditions.
• Safely work around power tools, construction materials, concrete, and uneven terrain.
