A Little Respite
Wage: $25.00
SUMMARY: Administers and oversees the operation of Free-Standing Respite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A./ B.S.) from four-year college or university; Experience working with developmental disabilities, and supervisory experience preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Completes intake packets for all potential respite candidates and collects all required documents related to the care of the individual and the allowable units to ensure that their needs can be met by the program and that they are eligible for services.
- Schedules and facilitates all daily and overnight Respite visits.
- Participates in the development of the Level of Supervision Care and Monitoring Guides/ Protective Oversight for treatment team approved as necessary or required.
- Reviews documentation of medical records, progress notes, recreation calendars, task sheets, and communication logs daily.
