Sales Associate- IMMEDIATE NEED- $18/hr in Saint Joseph, Michigan at Scope Services

General Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing knowledgeable, attentive, and professional sales support. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to guide customers through the sales process to meet their needs.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.

• Create a comfortable and positive shopping environment.
• Ask thoughtful questions to identify customer needs, preferences, and goals.
• Demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and helpfulness at all times.
• Recommend appropriate products and solutions that align with customer needs.
• Maintain consistent client follow-up to build lasting customer relationships.
• Represent the company with enthusiasm, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain a thorough understanding of all products offered.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, product construction, materials, styles, fabrics, and manufacturer warranties.
• Use product knowledge to educate customers and support informed purchasing decisions.

Sales Orders

• Accurately complete all sales orders with detailed information to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all special-order sales contain the necessary specifications to place accurate manufacturer orders, include diagrams, measurements, and customer initials are required.

Phone and Text Communication

• Answer phone calls promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Respond to customer text messages through Podium with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.

Showroom Floor Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment.
• Ensure all showroom merchandise is properly displayed and clearly priced.
• Assist with stocking accessories, merchandising displays, and maintaining signage with accurate product information.
• Uphold company standards for appearance and presentation of the sales floor.

Additional Duties

• Follow up with customers after delivery to confirm satisfaction and discuss future projects.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule

• 37-38 hours per week
• Monday-Saturday
• One day off during the week
• Hours: 10:00am- 6:00pm
• Salary: $18/hr
