Performs all duties associated with the delivery of sterilized surgical instrumentation and the disinfection of medical devices for use in patient care areas. These duties require achieving competencies in decontamination, prep and packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution. Supports services in patient care areas by promoting highest quality reprocessing. Assembles case carts and supplies for Perioperative Services. Restocks and issues specialty carts, crash carts and issues requisitioned medical devices throughout EAMC.
