Price Support Associate

Position Type: Full Time, Hourly with benefits

Department: Price Support

Shift: 7:30AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime

Reports To: IT Systems Administrator

Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining point of sale records for products sold in Houchens owned grocery and convenience stores; including: Crossroads, IGA, Houchens, JR Foods, PriceLess, Save-A-Lot, Shell, ACE, Hanks and tobacco shops.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Key product changes into Point of Sale system.
• Work with Buyers, Vendors, and Stores to update and maintain product records.
• Identify and correct problems/inconsistencies with product records.
• Print weekly price change tags.
• Run and distribute reports when necessary.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic typing skills – 30+ WPM preferred
• Strong organizational ability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to answer and respond to phone calls, faxes, and e-mails in a timely manner.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience working in a retail environment.
