Job Summary:

The Maintenance Data Support Intern will support the Maintenance team with production data collection, downtime tracking, line performance analysis, and process improvement initiatives within a high-speed beverage manufacturing environment.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, line integration, equipment timing analysis, and operational efficiency projects. The intern will assist with collecting and organizing production data, supporting line speed trials, tracking micro-stops and downtime events, and helping identify opportunities to improve line stability and overall production output.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and interested in manufacturing operations, maintenance systems, or industrial process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support line speed trials and manufacturing improvement projects.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze downtime and micro-stop data from production lines.
  • Assist with time studies and line performance evaluations.
  • Support line integration activities involving multiple OEM equipment systems.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and Parts teams to support operational improvements.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve equipment timing, line efficiency, and production output.
  • Maintain accurate production, downtime, and operational data records.
  • Support reporting and documentation related to maintenance and production performance.
  • Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards while working onsite.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required to support maintenance operations and business needs.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Interest in manufacturing operations, maintenance systems, or process improvement.
  • Prior internship, project, lab, or hands-on technical experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with operational and production data.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking tools preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to manufacturing environments or industrial operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with downtime tracking, time studies, or continuous improvement concepts is a plus.
  • Interest in high-speed manufacturing or production operations preferred.
