Rotating Equipment Planner in Baytown, Texas at Baytown, Texas

CTG is seeking to fill a Rotating Equipment Planner position for our client.

Location: Baytown, TX
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $55–$58/hour, depending on experience

Duties:

• Plan and schedule maintenance for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and cooling towers.

• Develop detailed work plans, labor estimates, cost estimates, and maintenance procedures.

• Coordinate resources, materials, tools, and contractors for scheduled maintenance.

• Manage spare parts inventories and Bills of Material (BOMs).

• Create task lists, work instructions, safety requirements, and job documentation.

• Support preventive/predictive maintenance, vibration monitoring, lubrication programs, and reliability improvements.

• Manage maintenance backlog and identify recurring equipment issues.

Skills:

• Rotating equipment maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Precision alignment, vibration analysis, bearings, seals, and couplings.

• Maintenance planning, scheduling, materials management, and BOMs.

• Preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability practices.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Experience planning maintenance for industrial rotating equipment.

• Experience with maintenance management systems and work order processes.

• Experience coordinating maintenance crews, contractors, production, and technical teams.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or mechanical maintenance training preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
