ACUTE CARE DEPARTMENT – RN
Full Time Night Shift Position
Rotating Weekends and Holidays
72 hours per bi-weekly pay period
Shift Hours 7PM – 7:30AM

Scheurer Hospital, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating patient health status
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and medical history
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
- Adhering to healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Within one year of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Cardiac Life Support (PALS) of start date.
