Job Description

Performance Marketing Manager
Own and run Practice by Numbers' paid advertising engine; build campaigns, manage spend, and optimize performance.
Team Location Type
Marketing Gurugram, India Full-time

Summary
You'll be the hands-on owner of Practice by Numbers' paid advertising. You'll build and manage campaigns, control day-to-day spend, monitor performance, test new opportunities, optimize toward a qualified pipeline, and continuously improve the efficiency of our paid acquisition programs.

This is not a role where you'll hand campaigns off to an agency or an execution team. You will be in the platforms every day. You'll research opportunities, build campaigns, write targeting and keyword structures, set bids and budgets, manage audiences, launch ads and landing-page tests, troubleshoot tracking, and make ongoing optimization decisions.

You'll manage paid acquisition across channels such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, retargeting, and other channels that make sense for PbN. You'll own the performance data behind these channels and use it to recommend where we should invest, scale, reduce, or test.

You'll also own the paid media budget proposal, forecasting, CRO strategy, and performance reporting.

The Role
This role sits at the intersection of demand generation, experimentation, and growth.
Your job is simple to say, but hard to do:
Create more qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • You'll own a broad set of acquisition programs across paid marketing, email, social intelligence, digital PR, and other emerging channels. Some will be established programs that need to be scaled. Others will start as an idea, a signal, or a promising audience that you've discovered and want to test.
  • You might find a high-intent audience hiding in an unexpected place. You might uncover a new way to reach practice owners through an industry community. You might identify a publication or industry list where PbN needs to be present. You might see an opportunity to turn an existing audience into a new acquisition channel.
  • Your job is to spot the opportunity, build the test, measure the result, and scale what works.
  • This is a hands-on marketing role. You'll own execution, but you're not here simply to execute someone else's checklist. We want someone who can look at a growth target and figure out where the opportunities are and how we can capture them.
  • You'll report to the Marketing Director and work closely with marketing leadership on growth priorities and direction.
  • Run paid marketing. Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns. Own targeting, audiences, budgets, bidding, conversion goals, retargeting, testing, and ongoing performance.
  • Own paid media planning. Build budget proposals and forecasts, evaluate channel opportunities, and recommend where to scale, reduce, or reallocate investment.
  • Drive email acquisition. Build and execute prospecting, nurture, re-engagement, and lead-generation campaigns. Segment audiences, test campaigns, and optimize for qualified responses.
  • Turn social into a growth channel. Monitor relevant communities, conversations, content, and industry activity to identify prospects, buying signals, and new audience opportunities.
  • Build digital PR and third-party presence. Identify relevant publications, listicles, directories, comparison sites, podcasts, newsletters, communities, and other opportunities where PbN can build visibility, authority, traffic, or prospects. Manage outreach and evaluate organic and paid placement opportunities.
  • Find new lead sources. Research where our ICP spends time and identify new ways to reach them. Turn promising ideas into structured experiments and scale the ones that generate qualified leads.
  • Optimize conversion. Identify opportunities across campaigns, landing pages, forms, and acquisition journeys. Develop tests and work with relevant teams to improve conversion.
  • Measure what matters. Track acquisition through qualified lead and, where measurable, demo, opportunity, and pipeline. Use data to understand what is working and where we should invest next.
  • Use AI to accelerate growth. Apply AI and automation to research, prospect discovery, campaign analysis, reporting, optimization, and repetitive marketing workflows.

What You'll Need
4–7 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, or digital acquisition, ideally with 3+ years in B2B SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience running and optimizing paid acquisition programs.
  • Experience with email-based lead generation and nurture.
  • Strong understanding of B2B demand generation and lead funnels.
  • Experience with audience research, prospect identification, list building, or new lead-source development.
  • Exposure to digital PR, outreach, communities, social listening, listings, or similar acquisition channels.
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing analytics data.
  • Understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and funnel performance.
  • Strong AI fluency and experience using AI to improve marketing execution and analysis.
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple acquisition programs.

Bonus Points
  • B2B SaaS experience with a sales-led or hybrid sales model.
  • Dental, healthcare, or practice-management software experience.
  • Experience building an acquisition channel from scratch.
  • Experience with digital PR, publications, podcasts, newsletters, communities, directories, or listicles.
  • Experience managing paid placements or marketing partnerships.
  • Experience building automated prospecting or marketing workflows.

The KPIs You'll Own
  • Qualified Lead Generation: Qualified leads generated across growth programs.
  • Lead Quality: Quality and relevance of leads passed to the SDR team.
  • Acquisition Efficiency: Cost per qualified lead and efficiency of acquisition programs.
  • Pipeline Contribution: Demos, opportunities, and pipeline generated where measurable.
  • Channel & Experiment Performance: Performance of existing channels and outcomes from new acquisition experiments.
