Position Summary

Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrates a high level of autonomy and clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating complex health conditions affecting individuals, families, and communities. The role involves formulating clinical decisions to manage acute and chronic illnesses and promoting wellness.

Integrates education, research, leadership, and consultation into daily practice, functioning collaboratively with nursing peers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Care is provided in accordance with state practice guidelines, organizational policies, and national certification standards.

Major Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic and assessment services, including obtaining health histories and performing in-depth physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests based on patient age and history.
  • Analyze clinical data to determine health status and develop differential diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and patients to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage therapeutic regimens for acute and chronic conditions following established protocols, modifying plans as needed to achieve care goals.
  • Document patient outcomes and communicate results to collaborating physicians.


Position Qualifications

License / Certification / Education
Required:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree.
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with appropriate certification.
  • Current Massachusetts Medical license.

Preferred:
  • 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience.
