Sun City as an open position for a Sanitation Associate to join the Warehouse/Distribution Center in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for individuals who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Summary:

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for assuring all areas of the warehouse are maintained and cleaned for optimal health and productivity.

Cleaning duties:

• Sweep grounds and pick up refuse from floor
• Empty all yellow cans that are assigned to your areas
• Mop up any liquid spills in the area you are assigned as soon as possible
• To follow directions accurately, consistently, and safely
• Help down stack pick slots that are assigned to you
• Various other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Work Authorization (Required)
• Experience in Sanitation (Preferred)
• Experience using specialized equipment (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently with little supervision in a team environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• General understanding of building sanitation/maintenance

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Job frequently requires standing, walking; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders; usage of pallet jacks
• Most work will be performed indoors unless scheduled to perform sanitation on exterior grounds. Inside, will be exposed to rooms in temperature range of ambient to 33 degrees, zero humidity to 90% humidity
• Safety shoes must be worn at all times
