Position Description: LOCAL COMPANY DRIVER CLASS A CDL
Location: Gastonia, NC (Must live within 2550 miles)

Highways & Skyways Transportation, a regional carrier based in Gastonia, NC, has an immediate opening for an experienced Local Company Driver (Class A CDL). We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused driver with a strong work history and clean driving record.
Position Details

Schedule: MondayFriday
Start time varies between 4:00 AM 8:00 AM
Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on customer needs

Home Daily Pulls out of Gastonia every day

Average: 55 hours per week

Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 position (not 1099)

Compensation

Base Pay: $22.60/hour

Safety Bonus: $1.00/hour

Overtime: Paid after 40 hours

Pay Frequency: Every Friday via direct deposit

Driver Requirements

Experience: At least 2 years of Class A CDL experience in the last 3 years

Tech Proficiency:

Comfortable operating a tablet (ELD device)

Able to use a smartphone for texting, apps, and email

Driving Record:

No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years

No major violations or DOT-reportable accidents in the last 3 years

No failed/refused drug tests or DUI/felony convictions in the past 10 years

Professional Traits:

Positive attitude

Strong work ethic

Stable employment history
