About This Position

Regional Sales Representative: Environmental Monitoring, Compliance & Validation Services

Location: Pacific Northwest - Seattle

You will be responsible for selling high-end environmental monitoring systems to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Your role encompasses the entire sales lifecycle, including initial sales strategy, research and prospecting, deal closing, and client expansion. You will play a critical role in driving new business growth, meeting revenue targets, developing key relationships with high-level decision-makers, and executing effective sales strategies. The position requires travel across your assigned territory to engage with customers, attend tradeshows, and provide expert advice on system solutions tailored to customer needs.

A leader in compliance for continuous environmental monitoring systems which are essential for maintaining optimal conditions in stability chambers, refrigerators, freezers, LN2 tanks, incubators, animal holding rooms, ultra-low freezers, cold rooms, and clean rooms, tracking crucial parameters like temperature, humidity, differential pressure, lighting control, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and air changes per hour.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of solution selling experience, preferably with the pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, and biotechnology industry, but will also consider sales of other solutions
  • Track record of exceptional sales performance and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong ability to assess potential sales opportunities, client needs, and opportunities to translate into recommended solutions.
  • Proven track record of presenting to multiple levels, engaging, and closing deals with “C” level executives.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects and working leads for new business.
  • Meet and exceed all revenue goals and targets
  • Develop key contacts and business relationships with high level decision makers.
  • Execute effective sales strategies and tactics that result in new account Wins.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Studies data describing new products to develop sales approach.
  • Develop competitive awareness and company advantages across industries and applications.
  • Travel across assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and Attends tradeshows.
  • Consultatively recommends system solutions for given need based on technical knowledge of products and industries.
  • Provides customers with advice in such areas as system layout, compliance, regulations, cost analysis, and collection methods to develop trust and promote sales.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into company CRM.
